About Contractor Learning Solutions

A Contractor-Focused Approach to Online Safety Training

Contractor Learning Solutions was developed from real-world experience managing workforce training, employee qualifications, pre-job requirements, and site access across environmental, demolition, remediation, industrial, and construction projects. We understand that training affects more than compliance—it affects whether personnel are prepared to report to the job and perform their work safely.

01

Built Around Contractor Needs

Training requirements often vary by employer, project, client, facility, and job role. CLS helps individuals and employers identify suitable training options without treating every requirement as interchangeable.

02

Clear About Completion Requirements

Not every safety course can be completed entirely online. We help distinguish online training from subjects that may also require hands-on instruction, supervised experience, a practical evaluation, employer designation, or state- or site-specific approval.

03

Support for Individuals and Employers

Whether you need one course for yourself or training options for an entire workforce, CLS provides a practical starting point for finding current programs and understanding the next steps.

Frequently asked questions

Online Safety Training FAQs

What types of training does CLS help individuals and employers find?

Contractor Learning Solutions focuses on safety, compliance, and workforce training for environmental, demolition, remediation, industrial, and construction work. Training subjects include HAZWOPER, OSHA construction safety, asbestos, lead, confined space, fall protection, silica, industrial safety, emergency response, transportation, site access, and equipment safety.

Are all listed courses currently available?

Course availability varies by subject, format, location, and training provider. Contact CLS with the course you need, the number of participants, and your preferred completion date. We’ll respond with current options or let you know when an appropriate program becomes available.

Can every course be completed entirely online?

No. Many awareness, refresher, and compliance courses may be available online, but some programs also require hands-on instruction, supervised experience, a practical evaluation, employer designation, or state- or site-specific approval. CLS will help clarify the known completion requirements for the course you’re considering.

Will I receive a certification after completing a course?

The credential depends on the program. A course may provide a certificate of completion, an OSHA course-completion card, training documentation, or another provider-issued record. Some professional qualifications and regulated certifications require additional experience, testing, practical evaluation, employer authorization, or government approval.

Does CLS offer training for employer teams?

Yes. Employers can request information about group enrollment, volume pricing, recurring training, new-hire requirements, and role-based training options. Availability and employer-support features will vary by course and provider.

Can CLS provide a TWIC card?

No. A Transportation Worker Identification Credential, or TWIC card, is a federal security credential obtained through the TSA enrollment process—not a training certificate. CLS can provide general information and direct individuals and employers to official application, renewal, and enrollment resources.

What information should I provide when requesting training?

Tell us the course or training subject, number of participants, preferred delivery format, required completion date, and any client, facility, state, or employer requirements. Providing those details helps us identify the most suitable available options.
